Treasure Isle Playing Experience

I love playing Treasure Isle, from Zynga Social games on the Facebook website.

I play every morning. When I first open the game, I check my gem tree for gems. I go around my island and collect any other items that need collecting (treasure from my floating treasure chest, prizes from my Tiki Relic, etc).

I travel to my friends' islands to gather gems from their trees if their trees are ripe. These gems come in very handy when searching for treasure on the many islands. They are mainly used to gain passage to the next part of the island.

I travel to the island I am currently searching for treasure. I collect as many treasures as my energy allows, until I have to recharge my energy. The easiest way to do this is to have some fruit accumulated. You can find fruit on the islands while you are searching for treasures.

Another way to get fruit is to get all of the items in a treasure collection. When a complete collection is traded in, you receive gold coins, experience points and some sort of fruit. Each fruit has a different amount of energy points it provides. The best one I have received is the dragonfruit.

Like all the Zynga Social games on Facebook, the more experience points you earn the higher your level. One key I have found is to watch how close you are to the next level before using up all the fruit in your backpack. If you are almost to the next level, just use the fruit you absolutely need to explore the island. Only get more if you have to, because when you go up in level your energy points are refilled and you would have wasted the points attained by using the fruit. No sense wasting the fruit, it will definitely come in handy.

Some people go to the squares that take the most energy to dig for treasure first. These are squares that have trees, bushes, rocks, etc on them. I prefer to take the more systematic approach. I do each row of squares in order. When I jumped around, I often missed squares and would have to go back and find them when I thought I had completed the island.

Since this is one of the social games by Zynga on Facebook, your friends can also send you items so add them.
