How to Get More Kids in FrontierVille

When FrontierVille began, players started with their own avatar, a wife and one child. With the addition of more kids, gamers can have a much larger family.

FrontierVille kids are tiny avatars that you will see on almost every homestead. Like the adults, they appear in specific locations until it is time for them to get to work.

Making babies is a simple process. Open the market, click on the kid goal to buy it. The new mission will appear on the left side of the screen. After the mission is complete, players will be able to place a cradle on their homestead. Grow the baby by clicking once on the cradle. There are a total of three kid missions. When one mission is complete, players can go back to the market to buy the second and third missions.

FaceBook gamers can create unique children. When a child first appears, they will be given the option to name them. Another menu will allow them to customize their children. Each child can have a different look or they can be designed to look like miniature versions of their parents.

When someone first logs into FrontierVille, their avatar is ready to complete any tasks they point it to. If they click on other family members, they will go to work. The children work the same way as the adults. Click on a child to gain control of them. Click on a section of land to make them walk in that direction. Select an animal and the child will feed or groom the livestock. Kids can complete all the same tasks and missions as the adults.

Children can be used as decoration, to show that someone has a large family. They are also functional. If the husband and wife are busy doing something on the farm, select the child and they will be able to do other jobs. With five family members working instead of two, players will be able to plant, harvest, and clear land faster than ever. Making babies is also a great way to take care of animals if you have a large animal farm.

Treasure Isle Playing Experience

I love playing Treasure Isle, from Zynga Social games on the Facebook website.

I play every morning. When I first open the game, I check my gem tree for gems. I go around my island and collect any other items that need collecting (treasure from my floating treasure chest, prizes from my Tiki Relic, etc).

I travel to my friends' islands to gather gems from their trees if their trees are ripe. These gems come in very handy when searching for treasure on the many islands. They are mainly used to gain passage to the next part of the island.

I travel to the island I am currently searching for treasure. I collect as many treasures as my energy allows, until I have to recharge my energy. The easiest way to do this is to have some fruit accumulated. You can find fruit on the islands while you are searching for treasures.

Another way to get fruit is to get all of the items in a treasure collection. When a complete collection is traded in, you receive gold coins, experience points and some sort of fruit. Each fruit has a different amount of energy points it provides. The best one I have received is the dragonfruit.

Like all the Zynga Social games on Facebook, the more experience points you earn the higher your level. One key I have found is to watch how close you are to the next level before using up all the fruit in your backpack. If you are almost to the next level, just use the fruit you absolutely need to explore the island. Only get more if you have to, because when you go up in level your energy points are refilled and you would have wasted the points attained by using the fruit. No sense wasting the fruit, it will definitely come in handy.

Some people go to the squares that take the most energy to dig for treasure first. These are squares that have trees, bushes, rocks, etc on them. I prefer to take the more systematic approach. I do each row of squares in order. When I jumped around, I often missed squares and would have to go back and find them when I thought I had completed the island.

Since this is one of the social games by Zynga on Facebook, your friends can also send you items so add them.

FarmVille Hot FaceBook Game

Gamers that play social games will find Farmville an exciting adventure on FaceBook. After getting home from work, relax by visiting neighboring farms, growing crops, building and tending to life on the farm.

One of the key elements to success in FarmVille is to ask your friends to be neighbors. The more neighbors you have the more resources you can get to play this Zynga game. Who knows? You may enjoy the game enough to journal and write about your adventures on the farm.

Give your neighbors gifts and presents daily. This will keep a good interaction going between you. Check your FaceBook main page to assist with requests and reap rewards.

There are many levels to this game. You'll spend tons of hours playing to reach them all. You can use Zynga cash to purchase items in the game to make it easier to level fastest.

The Best CityVille Gifts to Send Neighbors

Almost every game on FaceBook allows its players to send gifts to neighbors and friends. These gifts can be used to enhance the game in some way.

Energy

CityVille players know that when they run out of energy, most of the game play stops. They cannont harvest crops, collect money or unpack boats without energy. They can receive energy by waiting for the energy bar to reload, turning in collections, visiting neighbors and by receiving energy gifts. Players should always send the +3 battery presents because it gives the most energy in the game.

Zoning Permits

CityVille is a large game but players only have a small portion of land when the game begins. To expand their city, they will have to spend twenty thousand dollars and a number of permits to get access to another square of land. Players can ask for permits on their FaceBook feed or they can receive them as gift items. Zoning permits are almost as important as energy if gamers want to have a big city. After a few expansions, CityVille requires 20 permits to expand.

Fountain

The fountain is one of the must have gift items that can help players earn more money. It is aesthetically pleasing and it adds 9% to the profits of any building you place it next to. Players can create a beautiful city and rake in the cash if they receive enough of these fountains as presents.

Fence

Unlike FarmVille and FrontierVille, this game does not have a lot of fencing to offer its players. One can be found in the marketplace. While the other will be rewarded to players when they turn in specific collections. This beautiful white fence can be used to frame homes or create paths. It also increases the profits of nearby homes and stores.

Seals, Marble and Ribbon

These items are not that sought after, but it is nice to have a collection of them in the inventory. When players build a community building, it will not be complete until they ask friends for enough marble, ribbons and seals.

FarmVille Gifts to Give Your Neighbors

Giving Farmville gifts is an enjoyable part of the gaming experience. Neighboring players are those best able to cooperate with you in the game and enjoy the farms with you. Friendly and neighborly gifts most commonly take the form of animals and plants.

Brown geese or two will makes for for great presents. Animals are a constant part of the game. Every animal on the farms has a role and purpose. Your friend will be pleased by the feathers worth eighty coins that can be collected every two days from their new brown goose and sometimes will yield a banded quill rare item that only the geese can produce.

Giving cows to your neighbors in Farmville should put a smile on any neighbor's face. Cows are perfect presents for someone playing every day because they produce milk daily on a set schedule. Cows also make a farm feel like a farm. Every day your neighbor will be able to "milk" their cow and produce six coins the generous gift. Each Dairy Farm that your neighbor has can hold up to forty cows so don't hold back when gifting a cow.

Pigs also make great offerings to your neighbors. Just like cows and geese once these animals are harvested, they stay on your farm to be harvested again so once you've given one your neighbor will always have it on their farm to harvest. Pigs can be used to produce truffles, just as cows can be used to produce milk. The difference between the truffle and milk harvesting is that while cows produce milk daily, pigs can only be used produce truffles once every two days. The upside to gifted pigs in the farmer's pigpen is that the farmer will be able to gain thirty coins for each of the collected truffles.

3 Ways To Dominate Mafia Wars

Mafia Wars is easily one of the top 5 social games being played on Facebook. If you aren't playing Mafia Wars yet, you should give it a try. The game play is simple and fun. Most of your Facebook friends are probably already playing. Here are three simple tips to help you advance quickly in the game.

Gifts

Social games have unique aspects you can take advantage of and gifting is the main one. Ask for gifts from your family especially, if you are just starting. Experienced players have lots of the bigger weapons you haven't unlocked yet. These will make it easy for you to win fights and gain experience. At the early levels, winning fights is an easy and fast way to gain experience.

Balance Fighting And Jobs

You have limited stamina for fighting and limited energy to complete jobs. When you first level up, do one job and one fight. This will allow both energy and stamina to start refilling right away. At higher levels you will run out of both. You will gain experience for every fight but you gain more for winning so look for fights you can win and pound those people into the hospital.

Play The Lotto

Click on Marketplace on the top, then choose Daily Chance on the left side. You can play once a day. After you submit a ticket, you have the chance to claim a prize. The more tickets you submit, the better the prize. After the second ticket, trade in for another ticket to fill out. The more tickets you have the more stuff you can win like Reward Points to spend on special items with really high attack and defend stats or you could win some of the specialty items you are saving Reward Points for.

Restaurant City Tips and Tricks to Level Up Quick

Zynga is a huge force on Facebook when it comes to social games, but other companies such as Playfish, also have popular games. Restaurant City is the top cooking game online and Zynga's Cafe World comes in a close second.

A lot of Facebook social games use experience points as a way for players to level up, but in Restaurant city gourmet points are needed to move to another level. A fast way to get gourmet points are through recipes. Instead of spreading out ingredients to any available recipe, concentrate on building one menu item at a time up to level 10. While level 1 dishes only get 1 gourmet point when it is served, level 10 recipes give a whopping 2.8 points.

The layout of a restaurant is just as important as level 10 dishes. The best layouts are ones that have very little room between waiters getting food from the stoves and walking to the tables. Instead of spreading tables out across the restaurant, use slim rectangle shapes that enclose the waiters inside. The entire rectangle should be closed and it should consist of tables and stoves. Instead of one long rectangle, players can create multiple square shapes with one of more stove used to make the shape of the table layout. Always turn the stoves, so the cooks are standing outside of the layout.

Ingredients are everything in the restaurant and you can't go forward in the game without them. The best way to always have the most ingredients involves a lot of work in the beginning. The first time you visit a neighbor, you will receive one ingredient. Check the Restaurant City page on Facebook because they give free ingredients every week. Send gifts to friends everyday and they will reward you by sending back an ingredient. When players visit a neighbor, they can trade ingredients with them, so save up extra ingredients. Check the stand outside your restaurant everyday to see what new ingredients are up for sale.

Players who buy Playfish cash and uses it to buy ingredients can quickly level up. Buying non-coin ingredients rewards gamers with a lot of gourmet points.

When you have 8 employees, they should not be spread out. Use four of the employees as cooks, always have one wait if you are using one long rectangle layout for the tables, and the last employee should be a cleaner to remove trash from around the restaurant.

Hotel City Tips and Tricks

Hotel City is a FaceBook social game that allows players to build and run their own hotels. The hotel can grow as big and wide as players would like it to be and there is a lot of room to grow it in the future.

One way to get ahead in Hotel City is to not waste time. In this social game you have to pay money to keep the hotel open. If time runs out, players will lose a lot of revenue and hotel experience points until they log on and restart the game. Figure out how long you will be away from the computer and open the hotel for that amount of time or longer. This will keep the hotel running and earning money as long as possible.

A lot of FaceBook social games does not have interaction with the guests in the game, but in Zynga's Cafe World and Hotel City, this has changed. If you click on customers who are sleeping in a bedroom, players will receive money. Clicking enough guests can help to rack up enough money to buy a new hotel room or decoration.

Early in the game, buy as many budget hotels as you can afford. More guests equals more money, and in this social game, money is as important as hotel points. Place decorative items in the budget rooms to raise the rating as much as possible. This will increase the popularity of your hotel.

Don't waste money on a maid until you have a lot of rooms. Simply click on roaches and dust balls that you see in the room. A maid service will take up valuable space that you could use for a budget room, and it costs a lot of money to hire temporary employees.

Visit all of your neighbors daily. When you visit a neighbor, you will receive coin rewards and even collectibles and decorations. When you are short on money, a neighborly visit can give you extra money to buy more items in the game.

Unlike a lot of Zynga social games on FaceBook, Hotel City can be a set it and forget type of game. Once you have the hotel set up, you would only have to check in every few hours to start a new shift.

Come Stake Your Claim On Zynga's FrontierVille

Although I'm a die-hard Facebook member, I'm not much into social games. So, when a Facebook friend of mine asked me to become his neighbor on FrontierVille, I was a bit hesitant. I didn't want to get wrangled into another game where I'd have to maintain, tend, feed, or sort through anything.

I accepted his neighbor request, and then checked out the game for myself. What fun it is! Even though there are a lot of similarities to other Facebook social games, there are plenty of unique differences that make this game interesting.

The missions (projects that you can choose to participate in where, once complete, will give you a special gift item) are original, as are the encounters with the wild animals, the chance to decorate your homestead, covered wagon, General Store, and other stakes to your claim.

Zynga is planning on adding four new territories for all FrontierVille players to explore. Rattlesnake Canyon is a place where hidden riches can be claimed. Along the way, your player will encounter some pretty unsavory bandits who might need to be taught a thing or two. Gold Rush will give your player a chance to strike their own claim and find their riches within the mountains. Players must be wary of other claim jumpers, who'll do what they can to take over your fair share. Buffalo Range is a place where you can trade stock with Native Americans, and collect the native animals, including the special Iron Horse. The Oregon Trail promises to be another exciting adventure, so your player would need to stock up on ammunition, medicine, and food to take on this long and sometimes trecherous journey.

The addition of these new territories will make FrontierVille an even more exciting new addition to the Zynga family of social games.

Keep FrontierVille Moving With Timed Missions

There are many different things to do in FrontierVille including missions. These are a list of tasks that Zynga provides to keep players interested in the game. Months after FrontierVille first premiered, thousands of fans had run out of missions to complete on their homesteads.

Time Missions

In October 2010, fans logged on to see a new timed mission called “It's Canning Time” on their game screens. These missions are different because you have to play them in a certain amount of time. When someone clicks on the icon, they are told about the new timed mission and the time they have to complete it.

The missions will not start until you choose to click the start button and once you do, you will have a specific amount of time, such as a few days or a full week or more, to complete the mission. However, if you do not start the mission, it will disappear on a specific date. These special missions do not hang around forever, like regular missions.

Plan Timed Missions

Each timed mission is because you will be asked to multiple tasks for each one. Since you only have a limited time to complete these timed goals, you may not have time to waste if you need to sell ten of a specific adult animal, and you don't have any on your homestead. You will have to go through hours and days of regular feeding to grow these animals, and higher paid ones such as an ox, can take close to a week to grow.

Completing a timed mission is easy if you learn how to plan ahead. Before you click start on the newest goal, check a popular FrontierVille forum, such as Zynga's to see what other players have posted. Gamers love to be the first to say that they saw something new in the game, so hours or even days before the mission shows up on your homestead, someone else may have created a forum post about it and what you have to do to complete it.

Once you know what is needed in the timed goal, log into your game to prepare for the mission. For instance, if the forum poster says the game wants you to see 10 adult sheep, buy 10 sheep if you don't have any. Start feeding them, to get them closer to adulthood.

If you need to harvest 20 sunflowers, plant 20 sunflower seeds. However, unlike the animals, do not have the sunflowers before you get the mission because it will not count towards the goal. Also if a neighbor waters your plants during a mission, it counts as a harvest.

So if you need animals or crops to complete a mission, place these items in a good location, to draw attention to them. You will have an easier time with the mission if neighbors water your plants and groom your livestock so that you can shave off some feeding times. If time is growing short for an animal mission, use an “Animal Ready Boost” from the bear collection. Once this boost is used, it will be time to feed your animals again, and you will be able to grow them much faster.

Singular boosts are also available in the upgraded general store from Hank. The prices differ depending on the crop or animal you would like to grow, but these boosts are good for a timed mission. However, most of the new boosts only shaves off a couple hours, they do not work instantly like boosts received from collections.

Timed Mission Rewards

There have been a total of 12 timed goals in Frontier, but very few of them have given experience points as a reward. For the goal “Mutton Bustin”, players received 1000 experience points along with a hitching post and one dinner. The missions always give players a decorative item that they can place on their homestead such as a rabbit rotisserie, a sundial or stuffed groundhog.

These timed missions give players something to do when they have no other missions available. Plus if a player does not like the reward or want to complete the mission, they know that it will disappear in a few days or weeks.
